On November 3, 2007 Sarah Lawrence College students' parents and families came to campus for the annual Family Weekend. They were given the opportunity to attend various panels about their students' lives at the college as well as sit in a seminar taught by a member of the SLC Faculty. Families were served a lunch under the tent in front of Westlands during which they were visited by the Gryphon and entertained by a student jazz ensemble and the a cappella groups Vocal Minority and Treble in Paradise. They were also invited to view and bid on student artwork at the silent auction in the PAC.
